I'll be leaving for Dubai next week, I need to convert my peso to US Dollar or UAE Dirham directly. Anyone knows any bank or monet exchanger that converts peso to dollar?

Go to the bank or you can also go to SM look for the Foreign Exchange booth. They allow you to buy US dollar there

Banco de Oro also.. based on experience, among the banks, they give good exchange rates..
if you are near the airport, im sure there are money changers too.. Also downtowm, main city market..
Some department stores in SM malls have a money changer. Also money changers in downtown areas.
Don’t go to SM foreign exchange, they do not exchange pesos to another currency. They only do exchanges from foreign currency to pesos. Anyway, SM’s rates are not as competitive as banks.
I would advise you to exchange your money in banks like BDO and Chinabank. Based on my experience these two banks gives competitive rates for exchanging pesos to US dollars. These banks will ask for IDs and proof that you’re using it for travel like air tickets, airline reservations and/or travel/work visa.
Don’t exchange your money to dirhams in the Philippines you’ll lose in the conversion. Just change your peso to dollar. Once you arrive in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, etc just change your dollars to dirhams.
Also, consider buying US dollar travelers checks. There is a small fee for purchasing but they’re safer. If its lost or stolen it can be replaced, you can’t do that with cash. They come in various denominations.
In Cebu you can purchase American Express Travelers checks at Adventure International Tours at Ayala Center Cebu.

If you are returning to Manila for your flight home maybe this will work for you.
I leave from Manila Airport real early on Northwest Airlines now, but when I was flying on other airlines during the day I could change my pisos back to U.S. dollars right at the airport!
The last couple times when I was at the airport around 5 in the morning the exchange booth was not open. Once the guy who collects the departure tax changed some pisos over to U.S. dollars for me.
You can go to a money exchanger at Ayala Mall, SM, BDO or at Metro Gaisano, Colon Street. There is also a money changer that sells dollars at coner Junquera and P.del Rosario St. near the University of San Carlos.
There is also a money exchanger on Imus.. by P. del Rosario Street corner Jakosalem Street. Just ask around.
Just TRY to call them if it’s okay to change.
